Custom splash panels are fixed glass — no door, no swing, no slide — designed to contain shower spray while keeping the bathroom open and architectural. B & L Glass templates and fabricates each panel to your exact opening, whether it's a single screen at the entrance of a curbless walk-in, a tub-mount splash guard, or an L-shaped pair at a corner walk-in. It's the right call for modern Santa Rosa primary baths, wine-country curbless walk-ins, and Marin contemporary remodels across Sonoma, Napa, and Marin where the design brief asks for the cleanest possible line. A splash panel is fixed tempered safety glass — five configurations cover most Santa Rosa baths: a walk-in shower panel roughly 30" to 48" wide at the entrance of a curbless walk-in; a tub splash guard mounted at the head of a tub; a half-height panel at 36" to 48" tall so steam and light pass over; an L-shaped 90° pair at a corner walk-in with no door; and a niche or wall panel mounted behind a vanity or inside a shower niche.
Standard glass is 3/8" tempered; 1/2" tempered runs on taller or wider single panels where rigidity matters. Clear is default; low-iron removes the green tint, and frosted, reeded, or fluted glass adds privacy or texture. Three mounting paths cover every configuration: CRL U-channel along bottom and side wall (most rigid — common on tall walk-in panels); CRL clamps with visible hardware (tub guards and shorter panels); and stand-offs for minimal hardware on niche applications. CRL finishes run polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, brushed brass, and oil-rubbed bronze. An optional protective surface treatment helps water bead instead of spot. Splash panels do their best work in curbless walk-in primary baths across wine-country Healdsburg, Sonoma, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga estates, and in Marin contemporary architecture through Mill Valley, Tiburon, and Belvedere where a minimalist panel matches the clean architectural line. They also retrofit cleanly into heritage Petaluma and San Anselmo Victorians, where minimal hardware preserves period character. Tub/shower combos upgrading from a curtain are a natural fit. Splash panels are the wrong choice for steam showers needing a full vapor seal, or bathrooms with full-spray rainshower heads aimed past the panel into a dry zone.
Every panel begins with a templated on-site measure — floor flatness, wall plumb, and seal path checked against the real bathroom, because a fixed panel has no door swing to forgive a tight fit. Lead time typically runs 2 to 3 weeks from approved measure to installed panel; install itself is about a half-day, with the bathroom usable the same day after silicone cures. Care is light: squeegee after each shower, then a weekly wipe with a non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaner. Check the channel, clamps, or stand-off seal once or twice a year. Walk-in panels work best in showers built as wet floors. A rainshower head aimed past the panel into a dry zone defeats any fixed-panel system.

I have nothing but great things to say about the gentleman that came to do the work at my Father's house. Our sliding glass door was jammed, we called around and were told by every other place I called that they don't repair them. That I would need a new one. I got a quote from Anderson's to replace the entire sliding glass door and 5 windows (glass and frames) and boy was that ridiculous over $30k. I called B & L to replace the sliding glass door and a couple of windows that were very foggy they came out and measured and asked why I wanted to replace the sliding glass door when they could just fix it. The gentleman could have tried to upsell me to replace the glass on all my windows and sliding glass door but he didn't. In fact he saved me money by telling me they didn't replace sliding glass doors. I could have ended up going with another company and replaced the sliding glass door but he said don't do that we can fix it. They Arrived right at 8 when they gave me a window 8-9 for measurements. That is refreshing! When it came time for install the gentlemen again arrived on time, they were very professional and did great work. Fixing our sliding glass door was no easy task my father and I tried to fix it our self but was rather complicated! So glad we reached out to B & L!

Had a 3-sided neo-angle shower enclosure installed by B & L. Looked great except there was no door stop added. I didn't realize I needed one (they're optional) until a guest kept opening it inward, banging the door against the showerhead. This company is fantastic! We originally decided to call for a bid due to a broken garage window (it's baseball season). The representative that came out was friendly and helpful so we decided to ask about a cost to replace an ugly old yellow window as well. They listened to my ideas about what I wanted in place of the old window, and we decided to go ahead and replace it. When the day came for installation, the crew was on time and friendly. They told us they had allotted 4 hours for the job and they completed it in half that time. By the time they left I couldn't even tell they had been there except for the beautiful new windows. Everything was sparkling clean! We are so happy with our new window and glass replacement. I will absolutely call B & L for any future glass needs.
