San Anselmo sits in the heart of Marin County's Ross Valley, tucked between Fairfax and San Rafael where Sir Francis Drake Boulevard bends toward the coast. It's a town of roughly 12,000 with a downtown that punches far above its size — San Anselmo Avenue runs about six walkable blocks of antique dealers, independent bookshops, bakeries, and restaurants, with San Anselmo Creek slipping through the middle of it. George Lucas wrote the first drafts of Star Wars in a house here in the early 1970s and later gave the town a small downtown park with bronze statues of Yoda and Indiana Jones. Mount Tamalpais rises to the south, the Marin Municipal Water District trailheads are minutes west, and San Francisco is about 25 minutes across the Golden Gate. It's a quiet, tree-heavy, distinctly Marin place to spend a weekend.

Had a 3-sided neo-angle shower enclosure installed by B & L. Looked great except there was no door stop added. I didn't realize I needed one (they're optional) until a guest kept opening it inward, banging the door against the showerhead. Matt and Jake came out and installed one at no additional cost in under 10 minutes. Great service and attitude! Much appreciated, guys!

This company is fantastic! We originally decided to call for a bid due to a broken garage window (it's baseball season). The representative that came out was friendly and helpful so we decided to ask about a cost to replace an ugly old yellow window as well. They listened to my ideas about what I wanted in place of the old window, and we decided to go ahead and replace it. When the day came for installation, the crew was on time and friendly. They told us they had allotted 4 hours for the job and they completed it in half that time. By the time they left I couldn't even tell they had been there except for the beautiful new windows. Everything was sparkling clean! We are so happy with our new window and glass replacement. I will absolutely call B & L for any future glass needs.
